Scholastic's 8th annual celebration of reading took place on Friday, December 8, 2006. Fayetteville Guard players Charles Roberts and Quincy Malloy joined the community of readers - kids, teachers, librarians, parents and friends - as classrooms and libraries around the world took time to read for 2,007 seconds (33 ½ minutes).
