TITLE: Athletic Training - Internship
SUPERVISOR: Head Coach
TERM: March 1, 2010 – July 31, 2010
Description:
Intern will work directly with the medical staff of the team. Travel to various Fayetteville Guard locations required. Most experience gained is practical experience.
Internship Responsibilities:
Set up and clean up of training room and training room supplies
Light taping responsibilities
Daily coverage during practices and games as assigned
Documentation of medical treatments and injuries
Assist with rehabilitations
Inventory and supplies ordering
Internship Requirements:
Must be CPR/First Aid certified
Valid driver’s license.
High school graduate, some college experience preferred
Must be studying or pursuing educational athletic training program or related field
Some experience in taping
Ability to work daily, including holidays and weekends as required during the season.
Knowledge of safety standards and practices required.
Must be highly organized and efficient

SALES ACCOUNT EXCUTIVE
TITLE: Sales Account Executive
SUPERVISOR: General Manager
SALARY: Commission
START DATE: Immediately
Essential Functions:
Make cold calls to solicit corporate partnerships, group and season ticket sales.
Cultivate lists of potential leads to identify new customers.
Use existing lead lists to contact potential customers.
Maintain accurate records of sales leads.
Answer incoming customer inquires.
Account for the collection of all sales revenue.
Additional Responsibilities:
Initiate corporate sales, including team partnerships and corporate season tickets.
Attend off site events (ex: chamber functions, business after hours meetings, conventions, etc.)
Attendance at team functions is mandatory.
Assist with other duties as needed.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Minimum one year of sales and service experience.
Preferred Position Qualifications :
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

FOOTBALL OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT (Administrative Assistant Intern)
Supervisor : General Manager
Position Summary :
Football Operations Department (Administrative Assistant Intern) will report directly to the General Manager. Position requires individual(s) to work closely with the office staff in completing clerical assignments, coordinating team travel arrangements. As well as helping to secure sponsors for the upcoming season. (i.e.: Restaurants & Hotels)
Requirements :
Must have some clerical experience.
Must be highly organized and pay close attention to detail.
Must possess strong verbal & written communication skills.
Must be able to work up to 15 hours per week, but not less than 10 hours per week.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word computer applications, including but not limited to: creating and/or inputting data in excel spread sheets, E-mails with attachments and constructing word documents.
Must be able to work within a team, but also be a motivated self-starter and work on projects independently.
Responsibilities :
Assist coaching staff with attaining background information on potential prospects (i.e.: contact information, bio & medical information, stats, etc.)
Input prospect data into computer program(s) and/or excel spread sheet(s).
Secure information on amateur prospects from colleges & universities (i.e.: media guides, pre-season prospectus, stats, etc)
Assist in the securing of Training Table partners & Lodging partners by making telephone calls and in person contacts with local restaurants & hotels.
Complete special assignments, pertaining to Football Operations issues, as assigned by the Head Coach/General Manager.
SALES/MARKETING INTERN
SUPERVISOR: General Manager, Director of Sales
START DATE: Immediately
Essential Functions:
Identifying new Fayetteville Guard season and group ticket customers.
Telemarketing of the Fayetteville Guard in regards to season and group ticket sales.
Working with the Ticket Manager to organize, allocate, and distribute tickets, ticket information, and additional team material.
Help design and implement marketing strategies for ticket sales.
Initiate customer contact by making at least 25 outbound calls per day.
Assist with box office activities during Fayetteville Guard home games.
Assist the Ticket Manager with renewal and seat improvement process.
Read and respond to ticket request from local charity organizations.
Assist with sending out mailings.
Maintain database of all register to win information.
Additional Responsibilities:
Interns are eligible for commission on all group ticket sales as well as new season ticket sales.
Assist with any other duties as needed.
Minimum Position Requirements
High school graduate. Some college preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail.
Please note that we do not provide housing or transportation. All interns must have reliable transportation.

Description:
Officiate AIFA 4 Kids little league games.
Requirements:
Knowledge of football
Experience in officiating
Willingness to learn the arena game
